Renewables Customer & Data Manager

FLEXPOWER Customer & Data Managers work to facilitate the energy transition by ensuring the data flows between customers, DSOs/TSOs, operations, and trading. You will organize and execute the master and transaction data cycle from our sales leads to the customer portfolio, to the trading floor, and back. We offer power purchase agreements to operators of wind or solar parks, optimize 3rd party batteries, and enter into origination deals within the B2B segment. You will work closely with the origination team and ensure that we know what our assets are doing and how they perform. You will help develop the new industry standard for managing data flows between generation assets, flexible demand, grid operators, energy exchanges, market data sources, and your traders.

We expect you to be a regular at our Hamburg office, while hybrid working is an option. We are looking for detail-oriented problem solvers. You will gather a deep understanding of the European energy landscape and be encouraged to grow into a leadership role once you have established robust systems as a Junior.

  • Implement continuous improvement in the entire business process landscape to move to a digital and automated set-up
  • Manage projects for technical optimizations and upgrades of the existing system landscape

You are confident in your ability to

  • Take on responsibility as a Data manager. 1-3 years of previous experience in the energy markets is considered a plus. Especially experience in trading, commodity markets and logistics, dispatch, scheduling, and nominations will prove helpful

  • Work within an extremely dynamic environment where your work is a crucial part of the business process
  • Carry responsibility for processes that lie at the heart of short-term energy trading

We are honest about the fact that engineering, esp. in energy, is still considered a male domain by some, and we wholeheartedly disagree! We will build a diverse trading environment that includes minds who do not think alike

We are looking forward to your application and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the position in question.
